First opened to tourists in August 2016, the Tra Ang Valley is a haven for exploring nature, offering a variety of activities like swimming in caves, kayaking, and taking in the scenery of the mountains and forests. A path that travels 700 meters upstream through leech country ends at a massive cliff where a river emerges from a sizable cave entrance.

The main passage of the cave, which is only 667 meters long, ends in a slump.

The majority of the Phong Nha water is found in the main river passage.

The main passage is almost entirely submerged in water.

The cave’s upper levels near the entrance lead to balconies, and another entrance that was a flood overflow from the main passage was discovered.

These three caves used to be one long cave which was divided by the dolines known as sinkhole or collapse.
