Overview
Make your own cup of coffee from scratch and enjoy an informative workshop about Vietnamese coffee culture at Lacàph. Even though the French brought coffee to Vietnam in the mid 19th century, over time this country has developed its own distinctive cà phê culture that is deeply rooted in its traditional values.
Coming to this workshop, you will get to try your hands at brewing coffee using various techniques such as pour-over and Aeropress. Most notably, you will also learn to make the iconic “Cà Phê Trứng” (Vietnamese Egg Coffee). This seemingly unusual combination of egg yolks and coffee has wowed and swept many coffee lovers off their feet. What’s more? A knowledgeable coffee guide will tell you a lot of interesting stories about Vietnamese coffee culture and history.

What will you receive?
The coffee brewing experience at Lacaph will offer a range of activities for each participant, from theory to practice, including:
- Listen to the stories of Vietnamese coffee history and culture
- Learn to use the equipments throughout the session
- Taste coffee brewed by Lacaph Coffee Guides and
- You will have hands-on experience and enjoy a cup of coffee made by yourself
- Brewing coffee with the Pour-over technique (V60)
- Brewing coffee with the Aeropress technique
- Brewing coffee with the ‘contemporary’ Lacàph Phin (traditional filter coffee)
- Making ‘Egg Coffee’
Especially, after joining the session, each guest will get 15% off when buying Lacaph products at the showroom and receive a Certificate & 01 Lacaph pin.
